Meet our Managing Director, Delivery, Nick Regan

Can you explain your career path at LABUR?

Believe it or not, I began only two and half years ago as an individual contributor but quickly changed course to lead the LABUR transformation along with co-founders Darrin Lang and Seth Burr. Since then I have joined LABUR through a full digital transformation, created a state of the art training program from the ground up, lead 5 classes through our 90-day new-hire training program, and experienced 2X revenue growth in less than three full years. Who knows what’s next?!?!

What is the most unique thing about working at LABUR?

It’s the focus on relationships and treating people right. From the day I first interviewed, Darrin and Seth have echoed to myself and the team, “do the right things and treat people right and the rest will work itself out”. It is definitely not easier this way but it pays in the long run and allows us rest our heads easy at night!

Which of LABUR’s core values do you feel most connected with?

Accountability and Integrity have been pillars of my personal and family life as a parent for as long as I can remember. Particularly in the case of accountability, these are things that I focus my continued education and personal values on. If you ever want to talk accountability, I am the person to come to!

Do you prefer working in the office or at home and why?

I love my home and family but prefer to work in the office, and have done so since the late summer of 2020! First of all, I love Boston! Beyond that, I am truly doing what I’ve always wanted to do and building a team and an organization is most fun when you are side by side with the people you most enjoy working with. I can truly say, I enjoy lacing up the shoes, riding the commuter rail, and spending long days with my team! Wouldn’t have it any other way.

What is your favorite lunch spot near the office and why?

Chacarero, Casa Razdora, Zo, Bahn Mi Ok, Sabrosa, just to name a few. Plus, the new High Street Food Hall. Grabbing a bite to then meet the team in Post Office Square or the outdoor plaza at International Place is one of my favorite activities in Boston. Oh, and don’t forget to finish with a walk along the water in the Seaport. Boston, your my home!
